Return of the Basil

Sorry for the long break. I can only blame Jaq. She’s been busy with some book launch that has made her unavailable/unwilling to type up my diary. Outrageous – standards are slipping – it’s really not good enough.

Anyway, back to me, what have I been up to since I last posted? Well, there was a holiday, or rather Jaq and the other humans in my pack went off somewhere and left me at my best mate’s house. It was bliss.

I got to hang out all day, every day with Wilfie. I love him. In fact, when Jaq and the others returned, it took me a while to reacclimatise to my own territory. I missed my mate Wilf and tried to follow him home from the park – until I saw Jaq looking Girl-thumbnail-finalsad and offering me treats. We all have our price and really it is good to be home.

Jaq’s book is available in paperback or ebook at: Amazon UK / Amazon.com/ Kobo / Barnes & Noble/ Smashwords etc.

Hi Basil, Meg here, Lovely to hear from you again, I missed you but I am glad you had such a lovely time with your friend Wilfie. His human thinks I am bad, I don’t know why ‘cos I like her! Congratulations to Jaq, your human, on her book launch. My human, Valerie, is looking out for it and is quite excited about knowing a real, live author. (She’s such a crawler!!! No, she’s not, not really …) Anyway, friend, good to hear from you again. Enjoy your walkies this weekend.
